- Highly attractive to imported and native fire ants, as well as other ant species including harvester, bigheaded, and Argentine ants
- Worker ants carry the bait into the mound, where it is consumed and fed to the queen, leading to colony destruction
- Starts killing ants immediately; the queen typically dies within a week, effectively eliminating the mound
- Suitable for outdoor application on lawns, landscaped areas, golf courses, and various noncropland areas such as airports, roadsides, parks, and athletic fields
- Can be used around poultry houses (excluding runs and ranges) and other animal holding areas, but do not expose animals to the granules
- Recommended application rate: 25 tablespoons per mound or 24 ounces per 5,000 sq. ft. (12 lbs./acre) for larger infested areas
